Jiwon Ahn

Jiwon Ahn is a supporting character in The Warrior Returns. He is the younger brother of Yeji Ahn and the Metamorphosis Warrior.

Appearance[]

Jiwon was a well-built man with short gray hair and ice-blue eyes. As a hero, he wore a futuristic yellow, white and light blue armor with a blue power core.

Personality[]

Jiwon Ahn is a hero at heart, wanting to protect others for the sake of it and fight for the common people. He is flashy as he enjoyed posing like a superhero. He also cared a great deal for his sister and is a selfless individual, willingly fighting until his death.

Jiwon was one of the Resistance Warriors who fought against the 9-Warriors. He was one of the few warriors able to put up a fight against Minsu Kim, until his suit's cooling system malfunctioned and gave him severe third-degree burns.

Synopsis[]

Operation Relic Retrieval[]

He is first shown in a flashback lifting rubble off of his sister, Yeji Ahn. When he was introduced in his current state, he is in a hospital bed and wrapped entirely in bandages. As part of Operation: Living Corpse, he is transported by helicopter to confront the Martial Arts Warrior.

Jiwon transforms in the helicopter and jumps down to confront Jiseong. The two battle, though Jiseong appears to have the upper hand. Jiseong, however, is dumbfounded as his opponent continues to fight even as the suit Jiwon uses overheats and threatens to burn him alive. The battle ultimately ends with the two Warriors launching massive energy blasts at each other. Jiseong is caught and burned in the resulting explosion, but manages to escape.

Jiwon returns to his sister and drops his belt, saying he "kept his promise" to fight for her and disintegrates as his sister watches in distraught.

Pain Tolerance[]

Even without his hero equipment, Jiwon Ahn is shown to be extremely durable and able to tolerate great amounts of pain. He endured third-degree burns all over his body and is still able to move. Furthermore, he is able to continue to fight even as his entire body burns up

Belt and Suit[]

The primary equipment of the Metamorphosis Warrior is a belt. The belt is shown to possess a personality. It is implied that if the personality is inactive or disappears, the belt would lose its ability to function. In order to activate the transformation and wear the suit, either the user or the belt needs to say "Transform"

Enhanced Physical Strength and Durability
- By wearing the suit, Jiwon is shown to have greatly enhanced physical abilities. He is able to throw punches at an incredibly fast rate, enough to keep up with the Sword Warrior and Martial Arts Warrior. He is also able to jump from a helicopter and land safely on the ground.

Acceleration
- The suit has modes that grant the user extreme amounts of speed. Each mode allows the user to perceive time differently and lets the user move during that time
  - Accelerate Mode
    - Puts the user in a state of perceiving 0.1 seconds
    - Grants the user a great amount of speed. Jiwon was able to kick the Martial Arts Warrior through a building using this mode
  - Double Accelerate Mode
    - Puts the user in a state of perceiving 0.01 seconds
  - Triple Accelerate Mode
    - Puts the user in a state of perceiving 0.001 seconds
  - Quad Accel Mode
    - Puts the user in a state of perceiving 0.0001 seconds
    - This is the most dangerous state shown so far, to the point that every movement creates nuclear fusion and causes nearby temperature to increase greatly

Weaknesses[]

Cooling system
- The suit generates a lot of heat and requires a cooling system. If the cooling system is damaged or broken, the heat from the suit will burn the user inside
Ego Willingness
- Because the belt has a personality, the belt must be willing to accept a user in order to equip the suit. If the personality disappears or refuses, the user may not wear the suit or use the abilities
