Sancho is a minor character in the The Warrior Returns. She is a former inhabitant of the Time World until she was assigned to follow the Time Warrior, Do-Hoon Lim, back to Earth as his "squire", resulting in her being adopted into his family.

Personality

Sancho has shown to have a very serious, stoic, and no-nonsense personality. This is shown where she maintains a very calm and stoic demeanor constantly.

Since traveling to Earth alongside the Hero, Sancho has shown to take her duties as his new caretaker very seriously. As shown when she takes the initiative to tell his parents about what happened to him when he was too scared of them possibly rejecting him. Sancho would also try to do the same with Do-Hoon’s friends but was stopped by the Hero.

Sancho also showcased to be very brave. As seen when she chose to accompany Do-Hoon Lim to his confrontation against Minsu Kim and later, when he began to suffer from dementia after using up what little lifespan he had left and aging himself further, more than willing to fight for him.

Sancho is also shown to have a clumsy streak, dropping trays of food and plates as she begins helping Do-Hoon’s family run their restaurant.

Magic

As a native of the Time World, Sancho has showcased to be able to access and use the magic of that world.

As shown and likely due to her young age, Sancho mainly fights by using magic and can use summons to fight her enemies for her.

• Y Tente Cavallo: A spell used in tandem with a toy horse artifact that Sancho brought with her. By reciting the incantations, Sancho can turn the toy horse into a real one, the horse itself is used by Sancho to help transport Do-Hoon Lim, who due to his now advanced physical age, needs help to travel.

• Y Tente Toro: A spell used in tandem with a toy bull, by throwing the toy and reciting the spell incantation, the toy bull transforms into a real bull to attack Sancho’s intended target.

Items

• Sachel Bag: After traveling to Earth with the Time Hero, Sancho brought with her a sachel bag that is likely packed with various magical items she brought with her from her world. As shown in the Time Hero’s fight against Minsu Kim, It has been implied that Sancho has brought several offensive magic tools with her to help her fight.
  • Toy Horse: As shown, Sancho brought with her a miniature rocking horse toy, that when the spell a specific spell is recited, the toy transforms into a real horse, fully equipped with a satchel, some basic traveling gear, and light armor.
  • Toy Bull: As shown, Sancho brought with her a miniature rocking bull toy that is used in tandem with a magic spell that transforms it into a real bull. As shown, the bull was powerful enough to momentarily distract Sword Hero, Minsu Kim before being killed.

• The statement that Sancho's original family was "compensated" implies that they sold her.
• Her name is a reference to the Sancho of the Don Quixote novel, who was a squire of the eponymous character Don Quixote, who is also revealed to have been the Hero of Time 500 years ago.
