Vampir was the Demon Lord of the World of Exorcism and a relentless nemesis to the Exorcist Hero. After her defeat and death, Hwarang collected vials of her blood from her body and brought them back to his world. During the ill-fated campaign to stop the rampage of the 9-Warriors, Hwarang used these blood vials in a desperate attempt to overpower Seongjun Lee and Garam Lee. This backfired when Vampir took control of his body, reemerging as the Vampire Hero and joining their ranks.

Personality[]

Vampir was a being of pure malice, driven solely to create chaos and destruction. Though she temporarily cooperated with the Fallen Heroes, her loyalty was nonexistent, and she planned to betray them when it suited her. Vampir was dismissive and impatient in battle, viewing the Magic Hero as weak and unworthy, though she did respect formidable opponents. She even acknowledged that her nemesis, the Exorcism Hero, was exceptionally dedicated in his efforts to defeat her.

Vampir held a deep belief that her existence as a Demon Lord was to bring as much chaos, destruction, and death as possible, regardless of which world she was in. As Seongjun Lee noted, her thought patterns were straightforward and predictable, typical of a Demon Lord. She incorrectly assumed his goals aligned with classic villain tropes, such as world domination, reflecting her limited perspective.

Physical Appearance[]

Original Body[]

In her original body, Vampir appeared as a beautiful woman with blood-red wings, white hair and horns.

Hwarang’s Body[]

The Demon Lord of Blood, while possessing Hwarang's body, wore a similar outfit to Hwarang with a few differences being a cropped jacket, a red armband, red shades, an inverted cross necklace, and blood-red eyes.

Abilities & Powers[]

As the the Demon Lord who terrorized the Otherworld of Exorcism, Vampir was one of the most powerful entities of her native world and she had brought notable chaos and destruction across the world prior to being defeated by Hwarang Hong. Given that she was originally killed by Hwarang and as noted by Seongjun Lee, Vampir was much weaker than Hwarang and despite stealing his body, her overall strength was noted to be still inferior to Hwarang's. As Seongjun, in comparison to Hwarang, the amount of times she had managed to kill him and the amount of repeats he had to undergo to outmaneuver her/him was much less in comparison to the number of times Hwarang managed to kill him in past timelines.

Vampire Demon Lord[]

Blood Manipulation/Blood Magic: Vampir wields powerful blood manipulation magic, allowing her to create, shape, move, and control blood for a variety of uses, including spells, rituals, examinations, and especially combat. She commonly forms weapons like spears and spikes from her own blood to launch attacks. However, as she now inhabits the body of a Hero and is no longer a true vampire or Demon Lord, some of her original powers are altered or unavailable to her, a limitation she has both admitted and implied.

    • Blood Possession: When the original Hwarang Hong attempted to gain power by injecting himself with the Vampire Demon Lord’s blood, he unknowingly triggered her ability to resurrect through her own blood. Rather than gaining control over her powers as he intended, Hwarang’s mind and consciousness were overwhelmed. The Demon Lord then successfully overpowered him, taking full control of his body for herself. As shown after stealing his body, Vampir was also able to gain access to all of Hwarang’s memories and knowledge, as shown where she immediately knew who Seongjun and Garam were and knew who Sun-Hwa Yoo was as well.
    • Vampire Creation: As shown in Hwarang’s memories, Vampir’s primary usage of her blood was transforming powerful individuals into her subordinates. By allowing them to drink her blood, they transformed into powerful vampires with the same blood maniplation powers as her.
      • Werewolf: One of Vampir’s henchmen subordinates. As shown, he was likely considerably powerful, having inflicted life threatening wounds on Hwarang before being defeated by him. He would then try to tempt Hwarang to devour his heart in order to become a inhuman being and achieve further heights of power as a prize for beating him. Its likely that Vampir shared some of her blood to him to empower him as well.
      • Four Heavenly Kings: Vampir’s four strongest subordinates back in the world of Exorcism. Although unknown if all of them were vampires, Vampir had turned at least one of her subordinates into a vampire.
        • Vateurasimous, The Wise: Originally a human scholar from the world of Exorcism, hungering to get the chance to get more time to learn more knowledge, he accepted Vampir’s offer to become a vampire. Granting him the same blood manipulation powers as her. He however created a unique variation of it by focusing blood to his brain, increasing his cerebral capabilities. Becoming an oracle, he could now make accurate predictions of humanity’s strategies, actions, casualty and future. He was the last of Vampir’s top subordinates to fall to Hwarang thanks to this ability.

Vampire Hero[]

Blood Manipulation[]

As the Vampire Hero, she continued to use her own techniques while inhabiting Hwarang’s body, displaying numerous techniques. Although, as implied by Vampir, due to her now being in the body of a Hero, her abilities and powers have been altered or chnaged. Regardless, she has showcased to have used different kinds of techniques while within Hwarang’s body.

  • Demon Beasts of Blood Iron: Using drops of his blood, Vampire Warrior can create several hounds made out of blood to overpower an opponent with numbers.
  • Zapuared: An offensive form that Vampire Warrior could transform into, with his entire flesh becoming blood red and shaping his hands into claws for close combat.
  • Hand of the Blood Iron Shandalared: A restraining skill where Vampire Warrior forms a hand of blood to capture his opponent.
  • Blood Clone: As seen during his fight against the Magic Hero, Vampire Warrior is also able to create clones of himself that can replicate his powers.
  • Blood of a Million: In his possession, the Vampire Warrior possesses a small glass vile with a small marble made of blood inside it. As admitted him, this marble of blood was his hidden ace and something that he had acquired to eliminate the other 9-Warriors, including the Minsu Kim. The Marble itself was stated to have been created using the blood harvested from over a Million People. By absorbing this marble of blood, the Vampire Warrior could drastically increase his power and transform into an entirely different form. As shown, his new transformation turns wraps himself in an armor made completely out of blood.
    • Needles of Blood Iron: Sinpuared: Using droplets of blood, the Vampire Warrior creates numerous spikes of blood to telekinetically hurl at his targets.
    • God of Blood Iron: Aphaured: Originally shown in his base form, this ability allows the Vampire Warrior to create a skull made out of wires of blood. The wires of blood are in turn able to scatter around the skull and attack in all directions. The destructive power was shown to be extremely powerful and could easily destroy several metal transport ships in the Suez Canal. As stated by the Vampire Warrior, this technique is created using the blood he collected from over 200,000 people. In his transformed form using the blood of a Million, the Vampire Warrior was able to create several skulls of blood.
  • Blood Transference: The Vampire Warrior possesses the ability to give other people his blood. This gives them the ability to heal wounds on themselves, including fatal ones. This also gives them supernatural strength and the ability to manipulate blood but to a lesser extent. (Examples of this in Chapter 49) Unlike when she was in her original body, those of whom she shared her blood with seemingly did not turn into vampires.
  • Blood Teleportation: By having someone drink his blood in the location he desires to go to, Hwa-rang is able to teleport himself by making his sacrificial pawn explode and using the blood of his victim, is then able to instantly transport himself in their location.
  • Regeneration: Usually shown when he cuts his palm to spray blood to activate his techniques, Hwarang can regenerate wounds he sustains in his body. Showcasing during the time he needs to access his powers, he can instantly heal small self inflicted wounds. During his fight against Junho Yu, Hwarang showcased to be able to restore his body even when he was slashed into pieces and mince meat by Junho’s thorn vines and later, restored his head when was blown off by him. This healing/regenerative ability revolves around Hwarang manipulating his blood to restore/grow any flesh he lost or when he needs to put his body back together. As shown, he does this by gathering all of the flesh and blood he lost and fuse them back together, with the more extreme injuries, such as being torn to pieces, requires him to gather his blood and flesh into a ball of blood as he regrows his body.

Items[]

  • Karambit Knife: In order to access his blood based techniques, the Vampire Hero typically carries a curved karambit knife with him to cut himself with to bleed and use his abilities.
  • Blood Cube: After killing people in Mass in Korea and harvesting their blood, The Vampire Hero then concentrated this blood into a glass cube in order to use the Blood of a Million technique.

Trivia[]

  • As the Vampire Demon Lord, she was stated to usually perform the actions of a typical vampire, such as drinking blood and enjoying the blood of virgins the most.
  • Its been implied that the reason why Hwarang lost control of his body to Vampir is due to him already being heavily weakened, both physically and psychologically, battling Garam and Seongjun when he resorted to try and get stronger by taking in Vampir's blood. Allowing Vampir to successfully overpower his consciousness with her own.
